Formed on February, 2004 by three Battlefield enthusiasts who met each other at the cybercafe E-Games, Orchard Cineleisure, the clan first started on the title ‘Battlefield 1942’, where it has steadily grown from strength to strength, going for weekly trainings based purely on their love for the game and despite having no official competition(s) supporting it.
[Bf.Nut] was the undisputed king of Battlefield 1942 at the time, having garnered numerous victories over the older and more well-established clans.
Despite several heartbreaking occasions during the history of the clan, [Bf.Nut] has emerged stronger on every incident, having to see several older members go, and many newer faces entering the scene.
With the introduction of the new title, ‘Battlefield 2’, things during 2006 have definitely gotten better for the clan. With much more support for the game, much kudos to organizations like GameAxis, and Games Xtreme League, [Bf.Nut] has had many opportunities to grow together, having even attained worldwide Top 24 in an online World Tournament on March. Furthermore, the clan has proceeded with several more tournaments to dominate the top spots on all of them.
The clan moved on to Battlefield 2142 on November 2006, where amongst its more significant achievements were [Bf.Nut] overcoming difficult odds in Taipei to grab the top spot for the Asia Pacific region for BF2142. The clan also traveled to South Africa, during the rAge BF2142 event, where Bf.Nut also rose to the top.
Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare arrived on November 5th 2007, but tournaments did not open until June 2008, where [Bf.Nut] had its first experience with a different game series in the COD4:MW Singapore Invitational with results of 1st Runner-Up and 2nd Runner-Up. The Invitational was a unique experience, as it was broadcasted on the SlingHD television channel. It was the first made-for-TV gaming tournament in a multi-camera High-Def television production in Asia. July came along, with COD4:MW Samsung King of the Hill Season 2, and 2nd Runner-Up was achieved. Subsequently, however, bolstered with experience, [Bf.Nut] came roaring back during the World Cyber Games COD4:MW Singapore Open Category, where for the first time, it had the Champion spot.
